Somehow I stumbled upon this website that seems to be perfect for our save-the-date information. Any of you who are big on the "goin-green" scene will appreciate this as well. The site is called Pingg and it's kind of like Evite but [better] with more options and still free.
For those of you that are not familiar with Evite, here's the story... it's basically a site that allows you to set up events virtually and then email-out the invites. How does Pingg one-up them? You can personalize it just a wee bit more and there's an option to become a "premium" member ($10) and have more unlimited options. On top of the usual options you also get print options (starting at $1.50/card) if you'd rather send out cards and you can specify which guests you want to get cards instead of or along with the email invite. Am I getting your attention yet?
My personal favorite touch is that you can link your Amazon wish list OR registry to you Pingg invite site making it easier for your guests to have everything at their fingertips! Or if you'd rather, use Changing the Present and you can have people make a donation in your name! How does that sound?
Basically, I'm fascinated by this site and I think it's a winner!
